Who am I?
Hi and thank you for visiting my site! I'm Rob Cavill, an indie rock and pop mixing specialist with over 30 years of hands-on experience in audio across various industry avenues.
As a bass and keyboard player in my formative years loving the vibrant Indie Rock and Pop of the 1990s, I began my audio engineering journey studying at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). From there, I honed my craft at the world-renowned SARM Studios in Notting Hill, London.
At SARM, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the world's finest talent as an assistant engineer under legendary producer Trevor Horn, working on high-profile projects ranging from George Michael to global chart-toppers.
That invaluable foundation led to an extensive freelance producing career developing rising artists before transitioning into audio education. Now, I find myself right back where it all began: helping independent bands and artists like you realize the absolute potential of their music!
